Gene D. Morse is an infectious disease pharmacology expert. He can speak to media about a range of drug discovery and drug management issues impacting infectious disease research, clinical trials and therapeutic management of patients.

Morse’s work in antiviral pharmacotherapy is internationally known. He has been actively involved in HIV clinical pharmacology research since the introduction of antiretrovirals in 1986, with more recent emphasis on HCV infection and drug development. In Western New York, he has served as a leading pharmacotherapy expert on studies relating to COVID-19.

Morse is also an expert on global health, working with international partners to build infectious disease research centers in Jamaica and Zimbabwe.
