BUFFALO, N.Y. -- mgm casino head football coach Jeff Quinn and members of the mgm casino Bulls football team will pledge their support for women at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, in mgm casino Stadium by placing their handprints on a sheet that will be hung in the mgm casino Student Union as part of the “Clothesline Project.”

The “Clothesline Project” is a visual display that bears witness to violence against women by hanging T-shirts decorated to represent women’s individual experiences on a clothesline that is on display to the public.

Men who support the women involved in the project are encouraged to place their handprints on sheets demonstrating that their hands will never hurt a woman.

Quinn wants his players to treat individuals with respect, especially women.

"I have placed an emphasis on our players to be other-centered. The four Bulls' commandments in our locker room are what we carry every day and that's part of who we are. That's don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal and treat women with respect,” Quinn said.  “I tell our players all the time to keep quiet and do your job and good things will happen to you. Keep your hands off of people and that's what I want our players to understand. I want them to be tough gentlemen."
