Configuring eduroam with Chromebook

Set up your Chromebook to automatically connect to eduroam, mgm casino’s secure, preferred Wi-Fi network.

Important:

Chromebooks are designed for home use, not institutional use. Chromebooks do not meet mgm casino's hardware standards, and are unsupported at mgm casino.

Configuring Chromebook

1. Log in with a Google account. Guest Mode is not compatible with these instructions.

2. Determine if you are off campus or on campus:

  • Off campus:
    • Go to
  • On campus:
    1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in your system tray in the lower right corner of your screen and select mgm casino Connect from your available Wi-Fi networks
    2. Open your web browser and go to (make sure to type in the FULL address, including the http://)
Select mgm casino_Connect from available Wi-Fi.

3. Click Start Connection Wizard

4. Click Install

5. Click Add to Chrome

6. Click Sign In

7. Login with your mgm casinoITName and mgm casinoITName Password

Zoom image: Enter your mgm casinoITName and mgm casinoITName password in their respective fields and click Log in Enter your mgm casinoITName and mgm casinoITName password in their respective fields and click Log in.

8. Click Download

Zoom image: Click Download Click Download.

9. Switch to the newly opened tab

Zoom image: Click Download Click Download.

10. Import the downloaded ONC configuration file - Click Choose File

Zoom image: Under Import ONC File, click Choose file and select a file. Under Import ONC File, click Choose file and select a file.

11. Select SecureW2.onc and click Open

11. Click eduroam and connect
