Configuring eduroam Wi-Fi for Windows

Set up your Windows device so that it automatically connect to eduroam, mgm casino’s secure, preferred Wi-Fi network, whenever you are on campus.

1. Determine if you are off campus or on campus:

  • Off campus:
    •  Go to
  • On campus: 
    1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in your system tray in the lower right corner of your screen and select mgm casino Connect from your available Wi-Fi networks
    2. Open your web browser and go to

2. Click Start Connection Wizard

3. Click Configure and Connect

4. Click Save File

5. In the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, click the File Explorer icon.

6. Click Downloads

7. Click WiFi_University_at_Buffalo.exe

8. If you see a popup asking to install the app, select Allow

9. Click Next

10. Enter your mgm casinoITName and mgm casinoITName Password in their respective fields

11. Once the status bar is complete, click Done

12. Re-start your device.

When you arrive at mgm casino, check your device to make sure it connects to eduroam Wi-Fi.
