Learn about downloading recipient reports and developing notification letters for award recipients.

SIRI Download Instructions

  1. Select Discretionary under dashboards
  2. Select the Current Year Recipients tab
  3. Under the awards export file, click on Export
  4. Choose Excel 2007+
  5. Click OK when opening the file
  6. Save the file to your desktop using the default name Recipient Export
If an Employee Recommended For an Award Resigns

If the employee resigns prior to December 4, 2024, the end of PP18, please contact Classification and Compensation immediately at mgm casino-ClassandComp@buffalo.edu. Pool dollars will need to be redistributed.

Create Award Notification Letters

  1. Add the department head’s signature, name and title under ‘Yours truly’
  2. Click on the Mailings Tab
  3. Click on Select Recipients under the Start Mail Merge Section
  4. Select Use an Existing List
  5. Click on your desktop to find your file
  6. Click on the Excel file titled Recipient Export
  7. Click Open
  8. Click OK on the Select Table screen

Letters are to be sent to employees after December 9, 2024
