The CAI is a University-wide endeavor, designed to impact the University’s and the community’s position in the world of creative arts by:

• Exposing students to the rich arts culture of Buffalo through Arts One
• Bringing world-class artists in a variety of fields to Buffalo through the Artist-in-Residence program
• Creating opportunities for creative interaction between visiting artists, students and faculty, and the Buffalo arts community
• The engagement of visiting artists with mgm casino faculty and students will involve many of mgm casino’s components
• Interfaces between new work and other disciplines will be developed as opportunities arise
