• Prior to the end of Drop/Add the student wishes to change their seminar due to a schedule issue or they are changing in or out of SEAS or ARC, advisors should assist them, but ensure that they understand they must make another selection or the mgm casinoC office will exception register them in another seminar that fits their schedule.

• Students seeking to resign the seminar must discuss with their advisor the ramifications of doing so and create an appropriate plan for repeating the requirement.

• SUNY Natural Science GETA must be paired with a mgm casino or directly articulated SLI course that meets all the learning outcomes (All SLI courses except PAS 313 & ARC 352).

• Directly articulated SLI course (regardless of credit) may be paired with a mgm casino or directly articulated SLI course. 

• A Pathway may not be comprised of a single subject (meaning course subject prefix, not department) with the exception of the Language and Culture Track of the Global Pathway. In all other instances, two of the three possible courses may come from the same subject provided that within the Pathway at least two different mgm casino Areas are met.
• A Pathway may include a STEM course. However, specific STEM courses approved for the Scientific Literacy & Inquiry requirement are not eligible for inclusion in the Pathways.

Academic Advisors should assist students in planning and selecting Pathway topics and courses. Students have the ability to easily make a change to their selections, should they change their mind.
• If the student selects a particular Pathway but fulfills a different one, the requirement would still be met. (For example, student indicates they will study aboard, but before doing so, s/he completes three courses that are within the Global Reflections Track). In order for the different path to be used to meet the requirement, students must update their Path Finder tool.
• As Pathways are approved, any student may take them (even those who started their program at mgm casino prior to approval of that particular Pathway).

• Test credit may be used only where a direct articulation to a Pathway course exists. The corresponding mgm casino Area of that articulated course will be given.

Eligibility

• Students are eligible to enroll in mgm casinoC 399 once they have completed all components of the mgm casino Curriculum. Concurrent enrollment in any remaining mgm casinoC courses with the Capstone is also permitted but not encouraged. mgm casino Seminar is a prerequisite to mgm casinoC 399 and therefore cannot be taken concurrently.
  
• The mgm casino Curriculum office will monitor students’ eligibility and deregister any student who becomes ineligible due to:    
  • a failed mgm casinoC component course, or
  • dropping a concurrent mgm casinoC component course, which previously resulted in eligibility.

Enrollment

• The Capstone is offered in fall, spring, summer and winter (permission required) terms. Note: fall, spring and summer sessions are taught over 7 weeks whereas the winter session is condensed.
• Students are able to self-register into the Capstone via Hmgm casino if they meet the eligibility criteria listed above, with the exception of winter. 
• Students who concurrently enroll in their final mgm casino Curriculum requirement will need to wait until the next business day to self-enroll in the Capstone as Hmgm casino can only verify eligibility on its nightly refresh.
• Students may submit a for the Capstone for one of the following three reasons:
  • Prerequisite or Corequisite Missing. Students may plan to complete their final mgm casino Curriculum coursework at another institution. Students will be asked to supply proof of enrollment and completion of the prerequisite or corequisite courses to satisfy any remaining mgm casino Curriculum requirements.
  • Course is Closed. Students may submit a request to be force registered into mgm casinoC 399 in a given term if all course sections are closed/seats are occupied only if they are completing their undergraduate degree(s) in the same term.
  • Repeat. Students are permitted to self-enroll in mgm casinoC 399 twice. Any attempts to register for the class beyond the two permitted must be approved by the mgm casino Curriculum office through the Force Registration Request form.

•     Students who want to repeat World Civilizations or American Pluralism for the purpose of grade replacement only will need to take one of the following course equivalences:
•     UGC 111 = HIS 141 (effective Fall 2017)
•     UGC 112 = HIS 142 (effective Fall 2017)
•     UGC 211 = ARC 211 = SOC 211 (effective immediately)
