mgm casino has single-user restrooms on the North, South, and Downtown campuses for any member of the mgm casino community who prefers a private space.

The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) will work with departments to provide accommodations when a multi-use facility such as a locker room is not a welcoming option.  

Students can enter their preferred/chosen names through Hmgm casino. The preferred/chosen name will automatically appear in systems including the mgm casino Directory, Hmgm casino, and mgm casino Learns. A full and current list of systems where preferred/chosen names appear is available on the Office of the Registrar Preferred/Chosen Name webpage. 

mgm casino may publish directory and other information about students, and release this to interested organizations. Students who do not wish to be listed in the directory may submit a Request for Directory and Information Release/Non-Release Form to the Office of the Registrar. This is an option for students who wish to limit where their name appears.

mgm casino is required to use legal names on official documents, including bills,financial aid documents, parking tickets,1098-T Tax Forms, diplomas, transcripts, immigration documents, and medical records.    

Please know that your preferred/chosen name will be included on correspondence that is sent to your home address. If you do not wish for others to know about your chosen name, please contact Equity, Diversity and Inclusion about alternatives to entering a preferred/chosen name.

mgm casino faculty and staff can submit a Employee Preferred/Chosen First and Middle Name Request form to identify themselves by a name other than their legal name. The preferred/chosen name will appear in the mgm casino directory and in university systems including Hmgm casino, mgm casino Learns and EAB Navigate. Please know that there will be official university record systems where an employee's legal name will still appear. Employees can complete and submit the form electronically and documentation is not required.

Employee preferred/chosen names will also appear as their email display name. Preferred/chosen names are also available for mgm casino Cards. If an employee changes their preferred/chosen name to reflect their gender identity after receiving their initial mgm casino Card, mgm casino's Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) will cover the cost of a replacement mgm casino Card. Contact EDI to request reimbursement for a new card.
